In the most wonderful, child friendly setting by the edge of Zeller See in Austria 5700 with on-site lake bathing, swimming and diving/play pontoons, also Kayak hire, bicycle hire, plus free entrance to all 3 Lake side Lidos/Strandbads (2 of them easy walking distance or take the ferry – open from mid May to mid October) and free unlimited visits to the Municipal Hallenbad with it’s giant aqua tube, baby pool, children’s pool and steam room plus likewise the Ice-Rink next door – both open 10am to 10pm everyday.
Over 50 labelled, mapped Hiking trails in vicinity, winter skiing only a short free bus ride away and Summer skiing a bit further on same bus to Kaprun glacier. White water rafting, canyoning, Zip wire at Saalbach and guided Via-ferrata’s all around. Plus tandem paragliding, down hill mountain biking, fast moto-X Ebikes at Areitbahn and high tree canopy rope walks in Viehofen (next door resort). Other facilities included are, on pitch Wi-fi free, on-pitch cable TV free, plus on-pitch 240v mains link & on-pitch propane (note: these utilities are metered & payable).
Visitors must use On-site Washrooms, On-Site Showers, On-Site Toilets and On-Site Washing-Up room (as shown in photos, all very clean & easy to use) and NOT use any of the same caravan facilities so van stays in good condition, internal wash-up sink for small amounts is fine but then you’ll have to check waste dump tank at times.
Communal block is only 30m away – it has constant Hot showers & Hot wash-up all free with unlimited use plus a laundry and a drying room and heated ski boot room.
Plus from mid May onwards, so in time for UK half-term, caravan can take extra guests as we erect a giant Air Awning, floor size is 4.5m x 2.5m so ideal for children or other creatures. It acts like an outdoor room/conservatory for eating and sleeping or as a protective porch is poor weather. The Air Awning photos are the actual awning at a previous pitch. Maximum is then 8, as 4 adults can sleep inside caravan while up to 4 children can sleep in the awning and be all zipped up for the night having their own camping adventure.
We do not supply bed linen or towels. Some basics are there such as wash-up liquid, cooking oil, sugar & spices. But you will need to bring your own pillows, Duvets, sheets, towels and tea towels.
NOTE: Changeover day is either Saturday or Sunday with a minimum stay of 6 nights so according to previous guests check-out new travellers can have either 6, 7 or 8 nights if a weeks vacation or 13, 14 or 15 nights if a 2 week vacation.
