This cosy, four-room apartment is located in Residence Astenberg. A complex newly built in 2015 in Winterberg-Neuastenberg, which is right next to the Neuastenberg slopes (Postwiese). Neuastenberg is just six kilometres from the famous ski resort of Winterberg, which is also a lovely place to be in the summer. You can have a wonderful view of the Sauerland hills. There are beautiful hiking and cycling trails awaiting you in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Winterberg is not only a great place to enjoy your holidays in the winter, but also in summer it’s a lovely place to stay. The centre with the lively market square, where restaurants, cafes and shops form the heart of the town, ends in a long shopping street. St. James Church, the St. George ski jump, the World Cup bobsleigh track, the panorama bridge, Astenturm on the Kahler Asten, the salt caves, the winter sports museum and of course the numerous half-timbered houses, are some of the many attractions. And, when it comes to sports, you will definitely not get bored in the Winterberg area! There are more than enough challenges, and we’re not just talking about winter sports. Hikers and cyclists also have plenty of options around Winterberg. Of the many hiking trails that run through Winterberg, the Rothaarsteig is the longest. In addition, there are several more marked hiking trails, and Winterberg has a wonderful ‘bike park‘.
