The village of Rattlar is located approx. 6 kilometres from the well-known holiday town of Willingen, it is only 4 km to the neighbouring Usseln and 18 km to Winterberg. In Usseln you will find all the shops for daily needs: butcher, bakery and 2 supermarkets. In Willingen you have the highest mountains in the Sauerland, wellness, winter sport, super shopping (even on Sundays), nature, hiking trails, mountain bike tours and exciting sporting events. The town offers a unique variety of modern sport and entertainment possibilities. That makes Willingen a worthy holiday town year round. But there are also excursions in the area: Korbach (20km), Winterberg (25km), Brilon (20km), Diemelsee (15km), Eder Reservoir (30km).
