Our apartment is located between the Hundertwasser House and the Kunsthaus Wien in a quiet side street in the 3rd. District. The apartment is located in a small residential building on the 1st floor with lift access and private courtyard. The apartment is very cozy and offers a large luxury kitchen with large dining table and corner sofa. The very large and bright living room has a comfortable living area with corner sofa and TV cabinet with a 47 ‘LCD TV with cable TV and DVD player. In addition, the living room has a second dining area with 4 dining chairs. The master bedroom is very spacious and offers a large double bed (180X200 cm), numerous storage options thanks to numerous cupboards and a large wardrobe. In addition, you will find a small office table and a 32 ‘LCD TV. The guest bedroom is located on the courtyard side and offers a day bed which can be quickly converted into a comfortable double bed with 160X200cm. The large wardrobe provides sufficient storage space. The large bathroom with shower and separate bath is centrally accessible (access from both master bedroom and from the hallway) The apartment also has a separate toilet. Numerous parking lots, foodstuffs, bakeries, pharmacy before the door; Tram no. 1 takes you directly to the center – Schwedenplatz, university, town hall, parliament and opera. In 15-20 minutes walk on Stephansplatz!
Attractions: Our apartment is located directly between 2 of the most famous attractions in Vienna: the Hundertwasserhaus and the Kunsthaus Wien. Both can be reached on foot in less than 3 minutes.
Public transport: In just a few meters you will find the tram stop “Hetzgasse”, which will take you to Schwedenplatz in less than 5 minutes. From here, you can be at the Stephansplatz (center) in less than 6 minutes or you can get to the subway (lines U4 and U1). You can also book a boat trip along the Danube to the boat dock to Bratislava! Numerous guesthouses and restaurants await you along the Danube Canal.
If you are on line 1, take the ring to the University, Town Hall, Burgtheater, Parliament, Museumsquartier and finally to the Staatsoper! All sights of Vienna are along this route and you do not even need to change!
Shopping / groceries: In the immediate vicinity you will find 2 large supermarkets with extensive offer and food and drinks, open 6 days a week. In addition, there are still 2 bakeries with great bread and confectionery offer (open also on Sundays and holidays!) There is also a bank with cash machine, pharmacy, tobacconist, florist, many smaller shops, hairdresser shops and many more. Perfect infrastructure in front of your vacation home!
