Property Description

## What’s Inside

“Streetview Wien”, as it’s now named, had a former life as a flower shop in the 1950s. Now it’s a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment, and the sunny windows will still help you feel fresh as a daisy. A traveler with work to do will thrive here because of the speedy Wifi connection and uncluttered design. Whether alone, with a loved one, or with 2 extra guests on the fold-out ’ll have a beautiful romance with the historic streets of Vienna.

The combined living/dining/kitchenette room feels open and spacious (35 sqm. out of 60 sqm. total space), thanks to the tall 3,5 M ceilings and fresh white paint. Vintage furnishings and pops of color (with an eye toward the floral past) are tasteful and refreshing. The living room seats 5 on two couches near the wall-mounted TV. If you have extra guests, one of the sofas easily becomes a bed with a real mattress to comfortably sleep 2 more people.

There’s room for 4 to watch the street at the circular dining table. Here two marquees protect you from getting too much sun – perfect if you must work on your computer. The kitchenette is economical indeed: there’s an induction cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, and an espresso machine (with E.S.E. pods included). Dishes are tucked away neatly in the clean, modern cabinets.

The bedroom is a cozy space with a comfy king-size bed. Another large window lets the light in here (close the curtains if you’re dreaming of sleeping in!).

The closet and bathroom are down the hall beside the bedroom – here you can freshen up at the brightly lit bathroom vanity. There’s a glass stand-up shower with shampoo and shower gel provided. A hair dryer and iron ensure you’ll have no trouble looking sharp for that business meeting or night on the town.

## Out and About

Step outside “Streetview Wien”, and you’ll find yourself in Fasanviertel (meaning “pheasant quarter”). Here the main attractions are certainly the the baroque palaces of the Belvedere and Vienna’s botanical gardens – you could spend hours wandering the grounds and museums just a 3 minute walk away.

Fasanviertel was built in the 19th century for the officers of the nearby Arsenal barracks, but today it is a quiet, residential area where you will feel like a local. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby, as well as some restaurants and cafes. The airport and train station are also close at hand. This home and this neighborhood are both rich in history, waiting for you to experience a taste of Vienna’s past and present.
