Living on the mountain to the castle
Between the town center and Wernigerode Castle, the small but spacious house is in the typical Harz Tudor style.
Equipped with kitchen, living room, bedroom of a floor-level shower and a bath tub and an extension with another bedroom, the house is suitable for single travelers as well as for small families. The entrance area is large, so that bicycles and prams find enough space. Since the house is also designed for private use, is a basic stock of food (eg. B. Coffee and tea, oil, spices, water) available. Please note that the studio on the top floor and a guest toilet are exclusively private rooms. Also keep in mind that the house due to the small amount of some areas not for people Ü190cm height. There are also no safety gates for toddlers on the stairs.
Dogs / cats are allowed by arrangement, but mean additional costs of 5-10 Euro per night.
Connectivity, infrastructure and shopping:
The house is located very near the center. The train station (bus, railway) is within walking distance in about 20 minutes (1.5 km). The miniature railway can be reached in just 10 minutes (Station Westerntor). At the bus stop in the city center Rendezvous operate all city lines.
Hikers and bike enthusiasts will find an ideal starting point or Stopover.
Shops are located in the city center (health food store, Edeka). Two times a week there is a market on the Rathausvorplatz. Other shops are easily reached by bike or car.
