You have a very good connection to the public transport network of Wernigerode by bus and train. Directly at the holiday home you will find 3 parking spaces.
The small apartment in the basement of the house (40 sqm for 2 persons) offers you a beautifully designed living area. A bedroom with a large, comfortable box spring bed and a new and modern bathroom.
The living room is furnished with a flat screen TV, DVD and CD player. The associated pavilion offers plenty of space to enjoy the tranquility of the Harz Mountains in fine weather.
The apartment upstairs of the residential building (79 sqm for 4 adults + toddler) offers a fully equipped kitchen and a separate living room. The whole apartment is equipped with all amenities for a relaxing holiday. They have two separate bedrooms, each furnished with a large double bed. In one bedroom you will find a nice cot.
The bathroom is equipped with a corner bath and a shower and is very tastefully decorated.
Furthermore, a balcony with space for 4 people belongs to your large apartment.

We have booked in the last few years various holiday rentals and often looked forward to the tasteful decor. Often we also missed things or we missed something special.
We have tried to incorporate our experience in equipping the apartment and made everything so that you can feel very comfortable.

The Brocken – To explore:
Your apartment is the perfect starting point for a mountain hike. The Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz and thus in the whole of Northern Germany .. Its summit is 1141 meters above sea level and thus just above the tree line. The entire area around the Brocken was declared a national park in 1990. With about two million visitors a year, the Brocken is the most popular destination in the Harz mountains.
To get to the Brocken, you have the choice between a ride on the Brockenbahn or the ascent on foot. On the Brocken summit you can fortify yourself in various restaurants. There is a panoramic path at the top, as well as the Brocken Garden and the Brocken Museum.
With a little luck, you can enjoy a look far into the country from the highest Harz summit. For a holiday in the Harz a visit to the Brocken is definitely one of them!
The Harz – Zum Umwandern-: If you leave our ‘Apartment in the Green House’, then you are already a minute’s walk in the middle of the resin. You can go directly to many destinations and especially to the forest inns around Wernigerode and Ilsenburg or Schierke.
Walk along the Steinerne Renne to Plessenburg, or via Drübeck to Ilsenburg or along the track of the Brockenbahn to Schierke or Brocken.
Hiking maps are available in the apartment and we certainly have one or the other tip for you.
If you bring bicycles, we offer a safe and dry shelter.
