Our apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a renovated, typical of the Wernigeröder downtown historic half-timbered house. It was extensively renovated and lovingly decorated, so that the stay is in her a pleasant experience. From the apartment you are looking towards the east to the south, so the Palm House at the Lustgarten on the romantic embedded in the Harz Mountains Wernigerode Castle by “neighbor’s house”, the church of St. John, the oldest church of Wernigerode. In just under 10 minutes to reach the wide street that also architecturally interesting shopping mile Wernigerode. In about 15 minutes you can from the apartment the beautiful 500 year old town hall, reached the interesting marketplace or the relaxing forest. A bakery, a butcher and a discount store can be found about 300 meters from our apartment.
Dealing with the pure distance to DB Hauptbahnhof, to the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway Station and the Central Bus Station, so that our apartment especially for rail and coach travelers is particularly recommended on foot in about 10-15 minutes (350m). It is therefore a good starting point for urban as well as for more extensive explorations in the Harz up to the rough and legendary Brocken.
The apartment offers 45 sqm enough space for a maximum of 3 adults and a child. In the bedroom with views to the castle next to a double bed, a full third bed (adjustable upholstered couch) is available. In the romantically developed, accessible from the bedroom via a small staircase loft (not separated by a door, existing standing height for children up to 10 years) is still a mattress, which is also used by children.
