This cozy and fully furnished holiday home has its own terrace and is located on a fenced-in property of around 600m² directly on the edge of the forest. Wernigerode, also known as the "Colourful Town in the Harz Foothills", lies on the northern edge of the Harz region and is a town with a very special charm. Uniquely fascinating and gorgeous timber-framed houses in the city centre compete for the favour of the visitors with their variety. Wernigerode offers many tourist attractions. Wernigerode’s neo-Gothic Castle is towering magnificently over the city and can be recognized even from a distance. The surrounding area of Wernigerode is no less beautiful. This is also where the Harz narrow-gauge railway (Harzer Schmalspurbahn) starts its way via the village of Schierke up to the Brocken as well as across the Harz to the city of Nordhausen in the state of Thuringia.
