Our inviting apartment in the city center Weimar in a charming town house, near the Goetheplatz, impresses with its location and upscale amenities. The apartment has a living room with a comfortable couch corner, a bedroom with inviting sleeping arrangements (double bed 2,00 x 1,80 m), a modern kitchen with stove / oven, new fridge, dishwasher and plenty of crockery for every occasion. Coffee maker, toaster and kettle are also available. You will also find a small book collection for a quiet evening. The TV, Wi-Fi (Internet) & an exclusive stereo complement the good facilities. The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle, a vanity with large mirror, bath and toilet. Since the apartment is located in the center, you can explore all major attractions on foot. A bakery with an extensive breakfast menu, a supermarket and many other shops are nearby.
City exploration: Weimar is always worth a visit. Starting from your holiday apartment at the National Theater, you can stroll through the pedestrian area of ??Weimar. You do not need a car. The National Theater can be reached in about 1 to 2 minutes. The Bauhaus Museum can be reached in 3 minutes. Weimarhaus, Schillerhaus, Goethe’s residence, Residenzschloß, Anna Amalia library (the current highlight) and the Residenzschloß can be reached on foot within a few minutes (we can reserve tickets for you). In the pedestrian area you will also find many cafes, shops, ATMs of various banks and restaurants. On request, we also recommend restaurants for a nice dinner for two. We also give you tips for the best visit times of the Weimar museums. Or you make a trip to Erfurt, Jena and Eisenach (also good to reach by train). The station can be reached via a well-developed public bus network in Weimar.
Biking tours and activities in the surrounding area: If you are planning a bike tour, we will gladly provide you with 2 bicycles (once 10.00 EURO per bike). If you want to be on the road with mountain bikes, we will organize it for you too. In and around Weimar there is a well-developed network of cycle paths (Ilmradweg to Saaleradweg, Feiniger-Radweg). It is just wonderful to cycle through the Weimar parks, to have a picnic and to see castles (Residenzschloß, Tiefurt and Kromsdorf). The Ilm offers itself with appropriate water level for Kanutouren.
