The Dorfstadl is centrally located in the cozy mountain village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig at 860 meters above sea level. Mühlbach is one of the finest recreational areas in the Alps in the Hochkönig and is characterized by the high family-friendly. Newly renovated and well equipped, the Dorfstadl is a perfect accommodation for large families, groups or clubs.
The center of Mühlbach can be easily reached in two minutes walk. Varied, cozy and traditional Mühlbach shows its guests. High up above the town, watching the nearly 3 000 meter high Hochkönig. The nearest shops are just 200 meters from the cottage. Restaurants and taverns are multiple times in the area. The nearest large city is Bischofshofen and ten kilometers away. In addition to a modern shopping center Bischofshofen has numerous cafes and pubs and shops to offer an attractive downtown.
The Dorfstadl is accessible year-round by car. Pets are welcome. The cabin owner offers guests a sandwich service.
The Dorfstadl be booked during the summer at a lower price for up to 12 people. In the off-season the Dorfstadl can also be booked over the weekend with a minimum stay of three nights.
The ski area Mühlbach-Hochkönig is snow sure. A ski bus stop is right outside the Dorfstadl. On its 150 kilometers of slopes, guests will always find the best conditions for an exciting day of skiing. The 33 lift facilities ensure smooth transportation. Directly on the slopes entice numerous delicacies huts offering traditional fare of the Hochkönig region. For snowboarders there is a fun park with boxes, corners, jumps and slides.
Mühlbach-Hochkönig is part of the Ski Amadé ski area. The Salzburg Sports World Ski Amade offers 860 kilometers of slopes for pure winter pleasure.
Cross-country skiers can choose between a classic track, a high-altitude trail and a skating trail. Each cross-country skiing has a length of 1.5 kilometers.
For tobogganing there is the ski resort Mühlbach-Hochkönig two toboggan runs with a length of 5 kilometers. The toboggan runs are illuminated and toboggan can be rented on site.
Ski schools and ski kindergartens are in the ski area more than once.
On 85 kilometers of cleared hiking trails Winter hikers can enjoy the snowy winter landscape.
The Hochkönig Card by the Tourist Board offers both summer and winter a varied activity program and rebates.

In the pristine mountain landscape of the Hochkönig, guests will find around 340 km of well-marked hiking trails. From cozy alpine walks to challenging mountain tours is the right route for every type of hiker. The High King is with its 2 943 meters one of the largest mountain ranges of the Alps. The tourism association offers guided hikes with a guide. In addition, herbal hikes are offered. When herbs hiking the guests get to know many plants in the region and how it is processed.
Mühlbach is a paradise for E-bikers and mountain bikers. The selection of marked routes is extensive. From simple bike ride up to the busy peak tour. For e-bikers there are a well-developed network of service stations.
The High King with his almost 3 000 meters is a true paradise for mountaineers and climbers. With varied ascents and routes can test any limitations.

The newly renovated Dorfstadl offers spacious 300 sqm living space. Equipped is the cottage for 26 persons. For large families, company outings, groups and associations of the village center is a first-class holiday accommodation.
Center of Dorfstadl is the cozy living room with bar and dining area. The facility provides for the evening get-togethers and family meals enough space. At the haueigenen Bar atmospheric après-ski parties can be held. The tiled stove with a window creates a cozy atmosphere. For entertainment, a dartboard and a satellite TV are available. An Internet access is also available.
The big gastronomic kitchen is well equipped and designed for the size of the Dorfstadl. Kitchen facilities belong here. A. Slicer, oven, electric cooker, coffee maker, fridge and freezer, microwave, blender, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. As a highlight in the kitchen there is a wood oven for baking pizza.
