Our sandstone house was built in 1901 by a shoemaker, hence the name “lump house”. We have made a cozy apartment with the existing substance from the barn.

Our house is located directly on the edge of the forest in the picturesque nature reserve “Palatinate Forest”. Bicycle tours are possible in the surroundings. The Altschloßfelsen (a romantic rock massif of approximately 1500 meters length with Roman image) as well as the “Hexenklamm” are in the immediate vicinity (about 30km). In the wider area we have some castles: Old Town Castle, Neudahn Castle, Trifels Castle
From there you have a wonderful panorama view.
Moreover, our region is a paradise for climbing enthusiasts.
There is also the biosphere house with a trekking path, the Eisenerzgrube, Ritterburg Berwartstein, the Teufelstisch with an evening play ground, Speyer on the Rhine with a technology museum.
