Our vacation cabin is located in a beautiful secluded location near the small town of brick Ambach with private wells and photovoltaic system! It lies on the edge of the woods on a sunny glade on a slope in a huge plot (7000 sqm, not fenced), with a large lawn with many fruit trees. Children can romp wonderfully! Or simply relax in the quiet nature. The house has a living room with fireplace, sofa and dining area. It is very cozy with lots of wood. NEW: Infrared cabin in the basement and outdoor hot tub on the terrace! The kitchen is well equipped (cooker with ceramic hob and oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, small dishwasher …). Furthermore, there are 2 bedrooms (1xdouble bed, 1×2 single beds, 1 extra bed if necessary, 1 baby bed if needed). The bathroom has a shower and toilet. In addition, an extra toilet available. On the large balcony (loggia) with access from the living room, you have a beautiful view of the clearing. In addition there is a large sun terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue. Garden furniture and barbecue are available. Since April 2011 we have our own Photovoltaiikanlage on the roof! The house has new windows with blinds and insect screens, renovated and insulated facade and a lick of paint. The water comes from private wells, it can more or less cloudy. In winter, it may happen that due to weather conditions the last piece of the access road (150m forest road) is not passable by car. The car can then be parked beneath the driveway outdoors.
The house is located on the outskirts of brick Ambach in Schlüsselfeld. Schlüsselfeld / brick Ambach is directly ‘via the A3 motorway (Nuremberg – Würzburg) to achieve. From the exit no. 77 key field is about 6 km from the holiday home. In Steigerwald can go for a hike (500km marked hiking trails, 40 km start in Aschbach). Also cycling are very popular for example. The Prince Bishop cycling. There are close to two 18 hole golf courses, amusement park Geiselwind (about 10 km), the Schloss Thurn adventure park (30 km) and the Playmobil Funpark (about 60 km). In Weinfranken country visits are worthwhile in the summer on the numerous cozy wine festivals. It is only 35 km from the World Heritage Bamberg. Even Nuremberg with its large zoo and the world-famous Christmas market is only 60 km away. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, with its well-preserved old town of medieval worth a visit, as Bad Windsheim with its open-air museum and the spa. NEW Baumwipfelpfad in Ebrach!
Brick Ambach is a small village that belongs to the town of Schlüsselfeld. Key field is again a small cozy town in the Steigerwald Nature Park with city walls, towers and city small museum. There is everything your heart desires … is especially popular in the summer, the ice cream parlor! You can do your shopping, eating out or visit the cozy beer cellars with typical Franconian beer. It is open during the summer in good weather on the weekend (then flag is raised).
In the nearby town of Aschbach there are shops. You can also go food, the outdoor pool or play tennis and much more there.
