The 75m² apartment consists of 56m² living / dining area with integrated kitchen counter, 9m² bedroom and 10m² bathroom. Due to the sloping ceilings the actual surface area is significantly larger. In addition to a car parking space, it has a separate entrance with a small front garden in which there is a seating area. In the large, park-like natural garden around the house and pond you will find many peaceful paths for walks and places, shady or sunny with seating to linger. The apartment is bright and friendly and offers on three sides an undisturbed view of the garden pond and nature with beautiful moon and sunrises and a wide sky with ever fascinating cloud formations. Thanks to the secluded location with little ambient light also invites the star sky observations. With luck, there exists a chorus of frogs and crickets. But even in the winter months or in inclement weather can make it very pleasant with the fireplace, the beautiful view and a book from the small library. Here you will also find some thrillers of Walter Wehner, who was here with his wife in April 2016.
Originally consisting of a barn, sheep barn and smokehouse half-timbered building with a thatched roof, a hall was added to the latter in 1905. Since 1979, the building was renovated continuously using eco-friendly materials and restored. So has the apartment on the top floor, which was completed in 2014 for. The total 6,5ha large property you will find peaceful places to relax in lovely pathways. Approximately 1,5 ha of land have been identified as particularly protected biotope / wet grassland from Cuxhaven.
A highlight for nature lovers is the annual migration in spring and autumn. Where wild geese, cranes and, more recently, storks and more often hibernate in the immediate vicinity. Whole 144 bird species have been 2014 as part of the nine-day migration days (Aviathlon) spotted in space Cuxhaven.
Of the numerous bogs in the North German Plain is the Teufelsmoor in Worpswede, north of Bremen, probably the most famous. Not far away, near the Weser river in Sandstedt, in the south of the district of Cuxhaven, lies between the Sandstedter bog and the bog Wersabeer, the Warder open moor.
Past some houses and farms will only pass a farm track. Midway, a 600m long private road lined with birch, rowan and oak trees, at the end of which Warderhof lies, like an island in the pastures, surrounded by mature trees.

The apartment is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking.
Despite a very quiet secluded location can be reached by car z. B. Bremen and Bremerhaven in about 30min. or Oldenburg in 60min., 100min in Hamburg. Sandstedt on the Weser is just 5min. away. Apart from the Weser beach there is also the marina of the WV Sandstedt, the Weserfähre, a bakery and a slaughterhouse.
More numerous shops, doctors, etc. are in 10min. remote Hagen in Bremen. The North Sea baths Wremen and Dorum are in 35min. , Cuxhaven and the artist village Worpswede in 45min. to reach.
