Almhütte “henhouse at Soderhof” to feel at home in Unken
Here in the chicken coop, built in 1902, were – what a surprise – formerly quartered our egg producers. Even an old “Selche” (smokehouse), and a storage room.
We wanted to let others access to our quality of living, and so was born after an old model and with well hidden modern comforts, our “chicken coop” in extensive renovation work almost new. The cottage has a spacious living room with genuine antique furniture, an antique wood stove, 2 double bedrooms, a great bathroom with a tiled stove, a private outdoor sauna, and a large terrace with barbecue and views. Normally, we only rent from Saturday to Saturday. Short stays from 3 nights on request
The henhouse is in our Hofverband, on Unkenberg. On a hilltop site with views of the mountains all around. 3 km away in the village there are all the things of everyday use. Located in the immediate vicinity several ski resorts (from small family ski resort Heutal, to the huge ski area Saalbach Hinterglemm, and more). In the festival town Salzburg are scarce 50 minutes. Whether you want to the spa, just relax skiing, hiking, or just on your own terrace – you decide every day for yourself.
