Property Description
The house is located in a cottage settlement in the far northeastern Germany, just a few kilometers from the small town Ueckermünde directly on Szczecin Lagoon. Large forest areas bordering a few meters to your holiday destination, yet the beach is within walking distance. Although our house is above all a hotel for the summer, but can be used all year round by an electric heater and the stove. For families, our accommodation is ideal, as your children can use various play equipment, such as a swing, the small climbing tower and the existing children’s bicycles. The house has two separate bedrooms, a cozy living room with fireplace, a modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom and a covered terrace where you can enjoy breakfast outdoors or can have a barbecue. Take advantage of the self catering option and get freshly caught fish from the local fisherman.
From April 2017 the property is fenced for our guests with dog.
Mönkebude and environment: Mönkebude is a nationally recognized resort. There is a gently sloping beach with beach chairs, where you can relax and your children can play without danger. Sail on a Zeesenboot. Further facilities in a harbor with laundry, a tourist information center with bike rentals, a museum, several restaurants and a department store.
Take a break from everyday life and let yourself be in the morning just to wake the sound of birds. The holiday village lies on the outskirts near the forest. Explore the surroundings on the well-developed bicycle path network with the wheels, which we provide inclusive available. Of course you can also hike or pick mushrooms and blueberries. Something special you can experience when you visit us in September at the time of the rutting season and in the evening on the terrace listening to the roaring of the stags.
Especially worth seeing is the small town of Ueckermünde with historical market, lagoon city, castle and zoo.
Baltic and Usedom: Even if you love the Baltic Sea, you are right with us. By car the island of Usedom can be reached in less than an hour and you still miss the constant hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts. In the evening you can enjoy the peace with us again. Visit the imperial baths or relax on the sandy Baltic Sea beach. Also worth seeing are the various tourist sights on the island, such as the butterfly farm and the house, which is upside down, in Trassenheide. A special highlight is the Vineta Festival, which take place in the summer in Zinnowitz.
