The well-known volcanic lakes are very nearby; the Pulvermaar, where you can swim when the weather is nice, is just 3 km away. Thanks to the central location, well-known towns such as Daun and Manderscheid, the Nürnbergring track and the Moselle River with its charming towns such as Cochem and Bernkastel, are all within easy reach. The gently rolling countryside round Ellscheid is very popular with active holidaymakers. The Maare-Mosel bicycle route and the Eifelsteig hiking trail practically run alongside your holiday house. Mountain bikers can enjoy the Trailpark Vulkaneifel. You can park your car right out front. There is also a place to safely store your bicycle. All apartments come with free WiFi.
