Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (master bedroom, guest room, children’s room) and 2 spacious bathrooms, both with practical double sink. In the basement a sauna with a comfortable relaxation area, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a practical ski and storage room. Sheets and towels are also available. The Chalet offers self-catering, the fully equipped kitchen with everything your heart desires and the romantic fireplace invite after an eventful day to linger. The chalet is located in the incredible mountain panorama of the Turracherhöhe. With its generous panoramic windows, terraces and balconies, the beautiful surrounding area is brought into the Almhaus. The perfect and affectionate design invites after an eventful day on slopes, hiking trails or golf courses to linger. The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, a ‘starter pack’ of coffee capsules provided. The car is parked almost directly in front of the Chalet. Front of the chalet is a ski rack yum practical storage of your skis during your stay. In the village there is a shop with local specialties, the nearest supermarket is 10 km away. Some cozy mountain huts and restaurants are also nearby.
The Turracherhöhe is one of the snowiest regions in Austria and in the event of the case are any amounts snow guns available. A Piste butler pampers guests on the slopes. The wintry frozen Turrachsee ideal for cross-country skiing, walking and hiking ice skating and in summer it offers itself as a refreshing Badsee. The child-friendly ski resort has 40 km of ski slopes, 35 km cross-country skiing, winter hiking along the cross-country skiing without a car and noise, but a lot of snow, a toboggan run, an all-year toboggan run (Nocky Flitzer) and a magnificent natural and adventure park. All ski and cross-country skis and toboggans and ice skates can be easily rented at the nearby sports shop. For adults and children ski lessons and private lessons are offered in several ski schools.
Due to the specific climatic and vegetative conditions on the Turracherhöhe pollens have no chance as it’s breath on 1st 763 meters! For the summer there are numerous activities, such as hiking (the Turracherhöhe .. the Nockberge … the three mountain lakes … all this awaits you on a hike through the beautiful Carinthian-Styrian landscape.
