There are numerous sights and attractive tourist sites in close proximity. These include a wildlife park, the view tower of the Bohemian Forest, an open-air swimming pool and more. It also makes for a fantastic starting point for day trips to the fascinating cities of Regensburg, Amberg, Nuremburg as well as Pilsen and Prague in the Czech Republic. The winter months are the ideal time to get out on the many kilometres of cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails, natural toboggan runs.
