Arrive and feel at home … The Deichgut is a 150 year old thatched cottage in an idyllic and secluded location close to the North Sea and St. Peter-Ording.
The equipment in the beautiful house is modern, high quality and individually. On a good 120 square meters, it can be wonderful holiday – here you are guaranteed to recover.
The thatched cottage Deichgut is on the peninsula Eiderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein, just a few kilometers from the famous resort of St. Peter-Ording with its beautiful beaches. The North Sea and the dike at Norderheverkoog are only a kilometer away from the house. There you can wonderfully walk in peace or ride a bicycle.
In the cozy cottage Deichgut is room for six people. On the ground floor there are two comfortable bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed (1.80 x 2.00). In the other bedroom has two single beds available (90 x 2.00). Both rooms are equipped with a shutters, so that it is dark in the summer in the morning and in the evening to sleep.
Upstairs there is another small cozy bedroom with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00) and blackout blinds. Here you sleep peacefully directly under the thatched roof and with a view into the beautiful garden and across the fields. The bedrooms are modern, comfortable and individually decorated. All beds have quality mattresses. For smaller children, there is also a travel cot and a dropout protection for the large beds.
The Deichgut has two new bathrooms on the ground floor with shower and towel warmer.
For each window, the eye is in the idyllic landscape Eiderstedter, on the free fields, meadows and marshes. Upon request, bed linen and towels are provided so everything is taken care of on site.
The living area of ??the thatched cottage is very generous with its 40 square meters. Load a dining table for eight people, two comfortable sofas and a beautiful wingback chair a for chatting, relaxing and reading. Cosiness it creates a cast-iron stove from Sweden. Even in the harsh North Sea weather, it is wonderfully cuddly in every season. There’s a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. From the windows you look into the large beautifully landscaped garden with the old trees and over the wooden terrace.
The kitchen is spacious, bright and cozy Frisian. The equipment is perfect for self-catering and leaves nothing to be desired: dishwasher, coffee machine (Krups / Nespresso machine with milk frother and filter coffee machine), oven, microwave, toaster, egg cooker, kettle, mixer and juicer are available. In the beautiful kitchen is also a dining table with seating for six people. From here can be in the evening watching beautiful sunsets over the dike.
On request, you can get fresh bread every morning in the dike good to the front door. In cooperation with the company Morgengold (www. Morgengold. De), we offer a sandwich service.
The beautiful and charming thatched cottage stands on a gorgeous ingrown 2500 square meter plot with old fruit trees. Here in the garden place for everyone – to play football, run around, reading and relaxing at the same time. Who makes a holiday in the dike, who does not need to fear car traffic. The thatched roof house stands on a small path that no one else uses. For the maximum comfort from the arrival there is a beautiful gravel driveway with two parking spaces.
After a day on the beach or a bike ride, the relaxation in the dyke comes by itself. In the beautiful garden invites a beach chair and the wooden terrace with comfortable chairs and cushions for a break. On the large property are also a climbing frame, a sandpit and a small children’s play house. In the house children will find many books, board games and toys.
