Property Description
The Tetenbüllspieker is located on the edge of the pretty village Wasserkoog directly on the dike and shines after extensive renovation in March 2015 a new, original splendor.
The south-facing and west vacation part is completely separate from the rest of the house. He is about 100 square meters and offers two levels the ground floor and thatched modern comforts in a historical setting; traditionally upstanding outwardly Danish wooden windows, a large sliding door from the bedroom into the garden; historical ceiling beams, a Klönschnack entrance door, soaped wood floors, an ultra-modern Bulthaup kitchen with cooking island, induction hob, fridge, oven and dishwasher offers plenty of space for guests who love to cook and good. In plenty of dishes and sharp knives we value.
The house has been completely restored in the years 2013 to 2015; in addition to some historic farmhouse furniture from the Baroque period, the decor is modern and well equipped with specially designed furniture by Cappellini, Vitra, Moormann, occhio, among others. Bed linen from the Hamburg Stoffkontor, glass mosaics in the bathrooms, plenty of towels, washer and dryer, French garden furniture on the terrace provide extra comfort.
The thatched house was built in 1750. Presumably, a former customs station for the transport of goods on the islets; then dominated the North Sea until the front door; old drawings show the house – and the masts of lying on the other side of the dike ships in port.
Where was fifty years ago the harbor, today is a picturesque reservoirs and a paradise for bird watchers. Easily reached on foot along the water through the reeds to the upstream main dike and swimming area with lawn.
