The house with the apartment is located in a quiet side street with no through traffic. The owner you share only the entrance, otherwise you are in cultivation alone. Then feels almost like a vacation home.
This modern apartment is located on the first floor of an extension of the half-timbered house pictured. The apartment is equipped with a dining area with corner bench and table. From here you can reach all other facilities: these include a kitchen with fitted kitchen, microwave and everything you need. The large master bedroom with a double bed and large wardrobe. The small bedroom with a double bed and a roll wardrobe. The two beds are standard size of 180×200. The bright living room with flat-screen TV (SAT) and DVD player. To relax here found a cozy couch. Adjoining the kitchen you enter the large bathroom. Here you have a sauna, a whirlpool, a shower and a washing machine.
The apartment has a gas-floor heating. Thus, you alone determine your temperature in the apartment. The apartment also has an internet access (wireless).
On request, we provide a baby / cot and a high chair available.
You have a fixed parking for one car. Otherwise, there is plenty of parking available in 50 and 250 meters. Only about 300 meters there is a playground for the kids.
Schalkau is located on the southern edge of the Thuringian Forest in the ‘Schaumbergerland before the forest’. In the south you have the Franconian hills in the north and the Thuringian Forest. The famous Samba City Coburg is only about 15 minutes away by car. In the area there are many hiking and cycling. In addition to several museums, such as toy museum in Sonneberg, Gold Museum in Rauenstein etc. Also, a few interesting ruins can be visited.
