The holiday house is built as a farmhouse (approx. 170 sq. M. Of living space) around 1900 on the edge of the tranquil village of Abbenfleth on a 4. 500 m² plot, as one of the last houses in an absolutely quiet street. After changing history, the house was completely restored in 20016/2017 and converted into a lovingly designed holiday home. It is especially suitable for families with up to four children. The house has been reconstructed with the preservation of the old style elements and brought up to the current state of technology.
Where formerly apple trees stood, there is in the front part of the property a beautifully laid out ornamental and recreation garden (about 800 m²). The neighbor’s sheep graze on the back of the property. From the covered sun terrace of the house look directly at the pastures. From the upper floor you can see the Elbdeich and the Oberdecks of the great “Pötte” and Kreuzfahrer – also the Queen Mary.
On the ground floor you will find a large entrance hall, a spacious modern bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, a cozy living room with modern fitted kitchen and a Nespresso machine, a large dining and living room, a cozy bedroom with a large double bed and space for a side bed If required) and a dressing room. In the small cellar of the house you can have a dryer.
From the living room leads to the secluded south facing terrace next to the house and the large barrel sauna located there, which invites you to evening sauna. The sauna has a separate circuit and will be charged separately at the end of your holiday.
Passing the former animal barn, where bicycles can now be parked, you reach the large covered terrace behind the house. The terrace is also accessible via the abbreviation bathroom directly from the kitchen.
From the dressing room you reach the former hayloft of the house, which is now a large (approx. 70 square meters) children’s paradise with two double berths (2 x 160cm) and a childrens bed, as well as a small balcony with a direct Elbe view.
In about 800 meters distance you reach the beach area “Grauerort” with its beautiful sandy beach, which invites you to linger. On the way, about 500 meters away, is a large playground. Not far from here is the old fortress “Grauerort”, which was built in the 19th century. Century was erected by the Prussians to protect them from enemy ships and can now be visited.
By bike or by car you are in a few minutes in the center of Bützfleth. There are 2 large supermarkets, a bakery and gastronomy.
In Bützfleth is also a large, well-kept outdoor pool. On the cooler days, the fun and adventure bath, with Soletherme, can be used in Stade.
By car and the nearby bus, you will quickly reach the city center of the medieval city of Stade, with its wonderful pedestrian zone, the dreamy museum harbor and yet a fully-fledged and culturally developed Hanseatic city with modern shopping centers, shop lines and gastronomy in all price ranges.
In addition to the cultural offerings in Stade, there is also a bicycle rental, for those who want to use the “Elbradweg” located directly in front of the door.
15 km away is the popular holiday island of Krautsand and the famous fruit growing area “Altes Land”.
You can reach Hamburg Central Station in about 50 minutes by metro or S-Bahn. The city of Cuxhaven and the North Sea with its Wattenmeer are at a similar distance.
