Ski rental (alpine / cross-country skiing) and 2 alpine ski lifts directly in the village.
Beautiful tobogganing max. 5 min walk from the house (just down the gippe), 2 tobogifts at the place, also within walking distance – at the Panoramic (over a beautiful panorama path from the Gippe in approx. 10 min walking distance – and opposite the restaurant Silbertanne, approx 5 minutes walk), cross-country ski trail also within walking distance, with the bulky equipment however much more pleasant by car.
Ski rental (cross-country skiing) / toboggan slope and good cross-country skiing possibilities also in the neighboring village Benneckenstein and of course in Braunlage.
Shops (also bread rolls) 2 minutes walk, several restaurants / cafes, Kurpark as well as the tourist information are within walking distance.
