The small and idyllic health resort Zorge (district of Walkenried) is located in the beautiful Harz region and is surrounded by mountains, forests and meadows. Come and experience the fascinating nature of the Harz Nature Park. You’ll spend your holiday here in town. The cosy apartment is located on the ground floor. An external staircase (approximately 10 steps) leads to the main entrance. Make yourself comfortable in the living room or enjoy the warm hours together on the terrace. A garden barbecue is available. The region offers a multitude of leisure and recreational possibilities. In the winter: kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking trails, toboggan runs with natural and artificial snow, ice skating in the ice rinks of Bad Sachsa and Braunlage, snowshoe hikes. In Hohegeiß (approx. 5 km away) there’s a ski stadium with a double ski lift system. Braunlage (approx. 12km away) has several winter sports facilities. The ski stadium at the Wurmberg with cableway, chairlift, tow lift and toboggan run has snow-covered and lighted slopes. Bad Sachsa (approx. 10 km away) also has a ski stadium with tow lifts. Take advantage of the central location of your holiday home by touring the surrounding region. For example, ride the Brocken railway from Wernigerode or Schierke to the Brocken (approx. 20 km away), visit the "Rammelsberg" UNESCO World Heritage site in Goslar (40 km), the 1,000 year-old city of Goslar or the towns Wernigerode and Quedlinburg (30km) with their half-timbered houses.
