There is the Hunsrück Moselle cycling path and many walking routes starting right from the village. What you can’t miss is a visit to the fortified town of Kastellaun with a lovely historic town centre only 1.5 km from the home. There are also many historic towns and fortresses in the Middle Rhine Valley (25 km) and the Moselle Valley (19 km) which are worth visiting, such as Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach.
