The house is located in the small village Simonsberg in rural, very quiet surroundings on the peninsula Eiderstedt directly behind the dike on the North Frisian Wadden Sea. Nearby (8 km away) is the historic district town of Husum (hometown of Theodor Storm, who immortalized it in his poem as a “gray city by the sea”, but in truth colorful and lively). In about 10 km away is Friedrichstadt (“Venice of the North”) and about 15 km away the bathing and health resort Tönning, to Hamburg it is about 140 km, to the Danish border about 20 km. The Nordseeheil- and sulfur bath St.-Peter-Ording with its twelve km long and up to two km wide sandy beach and its dunes and salt marshes is about 25 km away. In St.-Peter-Ording you will find the seawater park Dünentherme and Robbarium and zoo West Coast Park, the islands of Sylt, Föhr, Amrum or Heligoland and the Hallig Hooge are popular day trip destinations. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, doctors, hospital, theaters, museums, train station are within easy reach in Husum in 10 minutes. Distance to the sea (watts, no beach) about 300 meters. Bathing place with shower in Simonsberg / Lundenbergsand approx. 4 km (Kurabgabefrei).

In addition there is a cot and on the upper level 2 more beds available. On the ground floor there is a Danish stove and various cozy seating. Kitchen equipment: stove (ceramic hob) with oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster. The dining table seats 6 people.
