Welcome to the Thuringian Forest, a destination full of variety! This holiday apartment is furnished in a modern design and is situated in a house right at the edge of the forest. The apartment is in a tranquil setting on the Lauter River right by the Biosphere Reserve and is also suitable for wheelchair users. You can enjoy a relaxing stay here at any time of year. There is a terrace for lounging in summer. In winter, a fireplace provides cosy heat while an infrared sauna (fee applies) provides relaxation. The great outdoors are waiting right at your doorstep. Daytrip destinations worth visiting in the immediate vicinity include the Rennsteig and Summit Trail. Cities such as Erfurt, Weimar, Ilmenau and Coburg are within easy reach thanks to the convenient connection. And be sure to hike the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Crystal clear streams wend their way through largely pristine nature, inviting you to relax and enjoy the outdoors. In winter you have over 70 km of groomed cross-country trails to explore as well as multiple ski lifts to access a diverse array of ski runs round the Rennsteig area.
