Our house is a 350 year old Montafoner mountain farm, and is located at 1140m above sea level above Schruns in Montafon in a unique location. The former mountain farm is ideal for groups of up to 12 people and is open all year round.
The breathtaking panorama offers in every season the right ambience for all the rest and relaxation, far away from the hectic everyday life search. Enjoy the traditional and original flair of this oasis of power without having to give up the usual comfort of our time.
Despite the idyllic secluded location we are accessible year-round by car. To the house via approximately 3.5 km long mountain road. The drive from Schruns takes 10-15 minutes. During the winter months, the road is regularly cleared and strewn, so our house is always accessible by car. Snow chains are necessary in winter.
The oldest parts of our house is about 350 years old. to obtain and are the modern needs ‘old values’, is our goal. Fluent hot and cold water, electricity, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, floor heating, boot dryer, modern sanitary facilities with spa shower and much more, we have integrated without destroying the cosiness of the former farm.
The modern pellet plant combined with solar panels, ensure that it is warm in the house, and any time there is enough hot water available. On request, we heat during the winter months, the wood stove for our guests.
The combination of modern comfort and the rustic flair of the old montafoner wooden architecture, lend the hotel its unique character. Originally built and repeatedly expanded traditionally all generations lived under one roof for the large peasant family in to have a “home”, our house is now an ideal place for groups up to 12 persons. Whether for a family reunion in which the focus is on being together, or plagued as a rest, strength and deceleration place for all stress, our house is ideal for those looking for a break from our hectic everyday life.
The guest area is spread over 2 floors, and has 5 double rooms and 1 twin room, 2 showers, 2 WC, 1 bath / WC, 2 compl. equipped kitchens and 1 lounge with satellite TV. Be curious about what our house has to offer.
Our house is constantly being redeveloped and adapted little by little to the modern demands of our time. our guest house with a modern pellet boiler is heated which is supported with 14m² solar panels. The total water consumption is supplied by the in-house source. Enjoy the particularly good water directly from the tap.
We are open all year for you and our house and can be booked in various categories.

Our rooms are made of solid wood and some with Zirbendecken. The rooms are simple and cozy. You do not want hotel atmosphere, but be comfortably together with your loved one? Common grilling and cozy game nights mean for you holiday? Then you are exactly right with us. The house is ideal for groups of 10 – 12 people. In the house are 5 doubles and 1 twin. Bed linen is included in all supply variants in the price.
Our house in winter
We are not in the middle, but there! Our house is located below the middle station of the Hochjoch cable car (ski area Silvretta Montafon). During the winter season, we provide a shuttle for our guests to the valley run, which leads a bit above the house. The ride to the valley run takes about 5 minutes and already kanns go. On the freshly prepared lower part of Vorarlberg’s longest downhill run without annoying change at the parking lot, it goes straight to the slopes! To the house you can go down, or who does not trust that, let us pick you up at the valley run. Our shuttle service is not suitable for beginners !! The Talabat River has blue and red sections. !!! You can not in winter by car to the middle station and get there !!!
The ski area of ??the Silvretta Montafon offers 246 km of marked runs of various levels of difficulty, ensuring an ideal distribution of the white sports fans in the Montafon ski resorts (Silvretta-Montafon, Golm and Gargellen).

Our house in the summer
In summer our house is surrounded by woods, meadows and sheep. To relax with your friends or family in the house and around the house enough space. Our groups also like to sit around the campfire and listen or make music. The large terrace is ideal for grilling.

The Montafon Alpine valley is surrounded by three mountain ranges. In the northwest of the striking chalk cliffs of the Rätikon. In the south of the partially glaciated Silvretta. Paragliding:
