This cozy place was completely refurbished in the spring of 2013, including totally new bath, kitchen, and furniture.
The apartment measures about 40 square metres (ca. 430 square feet) and is situated in the first floor of a small apartment building just about 100 yards from the long sandy beach called ‘Kalifornien’ (yes, that means California, there is even a road sign to testify) on one of the most beautiful stretches of the German baltic coast.
When chose to keep the interior simple and practical, yet appealing and comfortable, with much solid wood, in order to keep your vacation housekeeping to a minimum.
You can a expect a cozy living room with dining area and adjacent balcony, with lots of sun in the morning and shade in the adternoon heat. The balcony is enclosed; all it’s windows open and are fitted with blinds. At night, the lighting of the room can be dimmed to your liking.
The bedroom has two single beds (200 by 90cm each). In addition, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room (200 by 140cm when unfolded) as well as a sleeper chair (ca. 190 by 80 unfolded). A baby bed is available on request.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to do your own cooking, including dishwasher and a washer/dryer)
Ther is a bathroom with a shower (also an electric towel dryer/heater), and in the entry hall, you’ll find plenty of shelves and storage space.
Included in the rate is the use of our individual parking garage, which of course works for your bikes just as well if you like.
Downstairs you’ll find a small supermarket which carries pretty much anything you may find necessary for your vacation; for more comprehensive shopping needs, the drive to nearby Schönberg is about 10 minutes.
The Tourist Office, where e.g. you can reserve your beach chair, is situated a few steps across the street, just like a bike rental place.
If you are visiting outside the warm season, or if you happen to chance on a rainy day, the apartment has individually adjustable electric heaters in the living room, bedroom, and bath.
