The Berchtesgadenerland National Park is one of the most spectacular places in Germany. The village of Schonau am Konigssee lies in the middle of the park between 2700m high mountains and crystal-clear mountain lakes. This natural park is the only alpine nature area recognized by UNESCO for its unique habitat. It has wildlife such as the ibex and eagle and plants such as the edelweiss. The steep Watzmann mountain-side is most impressive and offers excellent walking opportunities. It is covered in snow for a large part of the year. In the beautifully located Berchtesgadener Land, surrounded by famous mountains such as the Watzmann, Jenner, Hohes Brett, Göll and Kehlstein, the cosy apartment invites you to regenerate and relax amidst a gorgeous landscape. Open-minded hospitality and a warm family-friendly atmosphere are just as common here as sports activities, fun and entertainment. Culture, tradition, rural idyll as well as numerous leisure and sports possibilities for the whole family will make your holiday stay an unforgettable experience.
