This completely renovated (in 2011/2012) group accommodation is located in the center of the Hogh Venn-Eifel (High Fens) nature park, a bog and heathland that emerged 7500 years ago at the end of the last ice age. A great environment with a beautiful countryside, within easy reach of Belgium and the Netherlands. It’s an excellent setting for hiking, motorcycling and mountain biking as well as visiting places such as Vogelsang, Nürburgring, Francorchamps or the Rursee by boat. It is not without reason that this area is called “The Gate of the Eifel Nature Park”. There are many attractions in the vicinity of the house, plus various other attractions just a short distance away.
In winter there are numerous winter sports facilities in the area of so-called Hocheifel.
Enjoy the hospitality of the people of the region. After an active day relax in the adjacent restaurant, bar, terrace or in the large beer garden where you have the possibility to barbecue and children can swing.
There are 25 parking spaces at the house. An ideal accommodation for up to 50 persons. Thus, it is well-suited for conferences and training seminars. A large TV screen is available.
On the ground floor of this very spacious building there is an entrance hall with cloakroom. Two large living rooms allow the group to split up and enjoy different activities. In addition to comfortable chairs and couches there is also a DVD and CD player, TV and table football table. A high chair is available. There is a separate bar area with beer tap and a dining room. There’s no food without a kitchen, so there is a large kitchen with an industrial stove with 10 burners, a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, refrigerator and a spacious pantry. Finally, on the ground floor there is a washroom with four toilets, four urinals and four sinks.
On the first floor you will find seventeen bedrooms: one single room, eleven twin/double rooms , one quad room and two 12-person rooms. The latter is furnished with three 4-person bunk beds. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with regular 2-person bunk beds. The other rooms have either two single beds or one double bed. Five bedrooms have a bathroom with toilet and shower. Eight bedrooms have a washbasin. All rooms have access to the bathroom equipped with five toilets, four sinks, three showers and a bathtub.
The second floor has six bedrooms: three single rooms and three twin/double rooms. Three of the bedrooms have a shower and toilet, the other three bedrooms have two common bathrooms, one with a shower and sink, the second with a sink and toilet.
All in all, plenty of opportunity for the group to spread out among the bedrooms. Obviously there are plenty of wardrobe and separate storage areas.
It’s possible to order breakfast in addition to your booking. The bistro next to the house serves snacks, such as fries, sausages and schnitzel, as well.
