This idyllic cottage is deposited at 850 meters above sea level, surrounded by meadows and forests, amidst the hiking paradise Ötscherland (Most district). The nearest town (Scheibbs) is located about 5 km away. The house was built in 1600 and renovated in 1965 and serves it to the owners as a holiday home. So here you will find no anonymous House, but a cozy house with a lot of flair. The equipment with toys, children’s books, games, sports equipment etc. is therefore complete. On the ground floor (approx 90sqm) there is a large living room with comfortable seating, bed days, etc., in which a large fireplace (closed hearth) for cozy warmth and coziness makes. Connected to the residential house there is a barn (200 sqm), where there is next to garden tools and firewood children bikes, a ping pong table and a pool table. Our property is indeed outside of mass tourism, but many vacation attractions are easily accessible.
Our community has Scheibbs offers a rich program for sustainable tourism (hiking trails, indoor pool, mountain biking, tennis). In summer, swim in the Erlauf (river) or in Lunze on the lake (crystal clear mountain lake). In winter, skiing in Lackenhof (10 lifts, 19km run) or Hochkar (8 lifts, 15km run). Wildly romantic day trips for hikers provide, inter alia, Nature Park Oetscher-Tormäuer and Ötschergräben. Can climb to the Oetscher (1893) and the Dürrenstein (1870 meters). Golfers may enjoy it in Golfclub Schloss Ernegg (18 holes).
