In the winter you can take the free ski bus, which stops nearly right in front of the door, to the famous ski area of Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm, a true paradise for snow lovers. The slope in the village, also open in the evening, is within walking distance (200 metres). There are also plenty of activities for non-skiers as well. Lovely cleared hiking paths, sledding, Nordic skiing, and just enjoying the peace and quiet. In the other seasons, Leogang and the direct vicinity offer many options for the active holiday maker, but also for the seekers of peace and quiet. Leogang is known all over Europe for its enormous mountain biking offerings. There are also many sights in the direct vicinity such as Kaprun, Zell am See, the Gro?glockner, the Krimmler waterfalls and dont forget the beautiful city of Salzburg.
