The cosy little cottage Murmel is centrally located in a very quiet location behind the spa park in the idyllic village of Ruhpolding. You have an entire house with garden for yourself! From the terrace, the balcony and from all living rooms you have a wonderful mountain view of the Rauschberg, the Gamsknogel and the Sonntagshorn. Our house Murmel was built in 1934, renovated several times, lastly in 2017, the long history of the house gives it its own charm, but also has certain limitations, such as steep stairs (see picture gallery). The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher and a dining table. In the living room there is a large flat screen TV, in the whole house you have free WLAN. The three bedrooms on the first floor have a total of two double beds and one single bed. Bed linen and towels are available for everyone. In the large wardrobe there is plenty of room to dry your equipment and clothes after exercise. In the cellar there is a washing machine and dryer for you. Private parking in front of the house is free of charge. The shops and restaurants in the village, the train station and the ice rink are only 5 minutes’ walk away. Lake Chiemsee is 25km away, Lake Königssee 50km, Salzburg 50km, Rosenheim 60km and Munich 115km. Near Ruhpolding you can enjoy wonderful hiking tours, whether on alpine pastures or on peaks, mountain biking, cycling, swimming in the lake and of course skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Ruhpolding has a large swimming pool, a golf course, several cable cars on fantastic panoramic mountains, an amusement park, several ski lifts and ski and snowboard schools and an ice skating rink. Ruhpolding also offers a traffic-calmed village centre with beautiful shops and typical Bavarian village culture to round off the day. With the Chiemgau-Card, which you can receive free of charge from us, you can use many of the region’s offers free of charge or at a considerable discount.
