The ideal, tranquil location in the middle of the mountains makes this unique holiday house on the Förchensee an extremely popular holiday destination. The detached cabin, which was handcrafted from round logs, offers great ambience combined with cosy luxury. The generous layout provides plenty of space. The bedrooms have been furnished to match the rustic ambience, with log-frame beds. An additional highlight is the 1.4-tonne granite bathtub located on the ground floor of the house, which invites you to enjoy a relaxing bath. The sinks were fashioned from the same material to match the tub. A large, walled shower stall completes the bathing area. The round logs were deliberately left exposed. The stone walls, combined with the lighting, provide a calming atmosphere. Outside, there is a broad covered veranda on one side, with a bangkirai wood floor, and a large carport on the other side. You can fish in the lake on the property. After a nice hike or brisk tour through the mountains, you can relax in the property’s large indoor pool or the rustic and cosy log sauna. Both are situated in the inn, which is directly adjacent to the house. The indoor pool is free of charge, the use of the sauna is fee-based. In summer, the natural bathing lakes of Ruhpolding’s "Three Lakes Area" are enticing places to enjoy fun in the water and relaxation amidst pristine natural beauty. And it’s all just a few minutes away. Hikers and cyclists take note! Mountain bikers and hikers have ideal access to a variety of trails starting right at their doorstep. The holiday house and the apartments are the closest in Ruhpolding to the Steinplatte/Winklmoos ski area and the cross-country skiing paradise of the Three Lakes Area. So winter sport enthusiasts have access to an ideal ski area and an optimally groomed cross-country ski trail in the immediate vicinity of the house. The Holzknecht Museum and the Biathlon Centre are popular attractions. Popular daytrip destinations include Burghausen, Munich, Salzburg, Chiemsee and the Königssee.
