In a few minutes by car or suburban train you can reach the popular seaside resort Warnemünde. Nearby are the shipyards and the AIDA cruise terminal with many ship calls and the seaport Rostock. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the white sandy Baltic Sea beach with jetty, beach promenade and shopping mile along the Old River, the historic center of the Hanseatic city of Rostock and the Baltic Sea ferry terminal to Scandinavia.
