Description of the environment
The apartment is located on the mezzanine floor in an apartment building in Rösrath. Since the connection to Cologne through the stop Rösrath-Stümpen is only 200 m behind the house, there are mainly students, employees of the airport Cologne / Bonn, commuters and employees of the fair Köln-Deutz. There are free parking spaces near the house.
Both the local recreation area Königsforst and the Wahner Heide with their large number of hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity.
With the regional train 25 one drives without change three stations to the fair Cologne Deutz and another station to the Cologne main station for altogether 3.80 euro. The train runs from 5.00 – 23. 00 clock in the morning at regular intervals.
Alternatively, there is a bus stop in the direction of Cologne in the immediate vicinity of the apartment with a transfer to the city train to the center of Cologne. A night bus leaves after 23 clock from Königsforst to Rösrath.
By car, the motorway connection A3 and A4 can be reached in 2 minutes driving time. Cologne / Bonn Airport is only a 15-minute drive away.
The things of your daily needs as a self-catering can be found within walking distance in a supermarket 800m from the apartment or in the opposite gas station with snack bar.
