We live in the historic mill house. Located directly above the stream, the “Wern”. With the fishing rod you could easily pull one of the delicious trout from the Wern. With views of the castle and the associated “Old Stock” already 1250 years old to the western side and the Grafenau to the eastern side you dive into Franconian peace. Around the Wengert wonderful hiking trails open up, a Kneipbad recently installed or lead beautiful bike paths along the Wern over Karlstadt to the DreiFlüsseStadt Gemünden.
