The house is nestled in the typical hilly landscape with its small villages and extensive forests that characterise the region. The nearby vicinity offers numerous excursion options and a 18-hole golf course is just 1.5 km away. Included in the spa tax is the "KONUS Guest Card" which grants free use of the buses and trains in the Black Forest (shown) and free (or discounted) admission to numerous tourist attractions. Here some interesting excursions: The bird park in Steinen (30 km), Europe’s biggest waterfall in Schaffhausen (65 km) and the cities Basel/Switzerland (40 km) or Mühlhausen/France (80 km) are worth a visit.
