The house contains a fitness room as well. In winter there is a cross-country ski trail that passes by the house when there is enough snow. Starting at 4 km from the house you will also find various ski lifts and a snow tubing slope. . From here you have many daytrip options to choose from: cities such as Dillenburg with its Wilhelmsturm tower and casemates, the historic districts in Hachenburg and Limburg with its cathedral, as well as Haiger, Herborn and Siegen. Athletic guests will enjoy romping through the climbing forest in Bad Marienberg or can head to Krombach Lake for sailing, surfing and swimming. You will find swimming pools in Bad Marienberg, Dillenburg and elsewhere. Families with children are very welcome here – there are books, games and toys in the house. If you bring your own bikes or motor bikes, you can keep them in the lockable storage shed.
