Bad Doberan is a relaxed health resort, about 6 km from the Baltic Sea. Once upon a time the bathers who enjoyed a summer holiday on the Baltic Sea stayed here. Even then, the historic narrow gauge railway Molli drove the guests directly to the sea. Destinations are the first German seaside resort Heiligendamm and the Baltic Sea Kühlungsborn.
