There is a fair chance for early morning risers to spot deer. The ski area called Bad Kleinkirchheim is located nearby. The ski area has well-tended slopes that stretch over 80 km, over 25 cable cars and ski-lifts as well as a number of cross-country ski slopes. These features provide an enjoyable winter holiday for the entire family in Radenthein. Cross-country skiing in this region complements natural winter enjoyment with sun and snow. The house is about 5 km uphill from Radenthein. Winter tyres and snow chains must always be carried. Snow is cleared on a daily basis.
