The historic, listed former “Kloster”- Kitchen on the coins mountain, the most romantic part of Quedlinburg has been restored with great attention to detail for a living in a unique atmosphere. The roots of the house are in the founding of the convent and church of St. Mary’s. Monastery and Church were founded in 986 by Abbess Mathilde, and was dedicated to St. Mary. Your holiday home is in the midst of many small half-timbered houses on the coins of the mountain town directly opposite the historic castle hill with the famous Abbey Church of St. Servatius. For loading and unloading, you can go directly to the car in front of the house. A long-term parking is close to the fire safety reasons built mountain is not permitted. For our guests a free parking space is on a closed parking lot directly to the access available to the mountain. The completed property offers not only a residential building cozy terrace and small garden with flower beds. As soon as you enter, you will be the house with its Mediterranean flair and an eye on the beautiful stone fireplace of the monastery to cast a spell. This rustic stones give the building its distinctive country house Carakter and make you want to cozy evenings by the open fire. (November to March we hold an initial supply of firewood free of charge for you) The ground floor features a cozy sitting area with a modern flat-screen TV, DVD player, radio, a spacious dining area for 8 persons with access to terrace, open fireplace and a spacious bathroom with shower / WC and bidet, hair dryer, lighted makeup mirror … A modern fitted kitchen with integrated fridge and freezer, electric cooker with oven and hob, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and toaster complete your comfort. Your holiday home is equipped with a modern gas heating. This provides both the underfloor heating of the terra-cotta tiled floor and the earth womb with heat and makes the house fit for 365 days so carefree vacation per year. Right next to the entrance, a beautiful wooden staircase leads to the first floor. Also here is the mighty center of the house the fireplace chimney. Aside from another, friendly bathroom with window, fitted with a bathtub and toilet, you will find a spacious bedroom with double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m and two further double bedrooms with a bed 1.40 x 2.00 m. From one of these Double room is reached via a beautiful wooden staircase always on the mighty chimney pass into the converted attic with an extra bed for one person. (Bed 1.0 x 2.0 m) From here you have, as in all bedrooms a magnificent view over the city.
