The first indication of this is the delicious bottle of Moselle wine that is waiting for you upon arrival! You will enjoy yourself, which is exactly what we want you to do. Welcome to Heisser Stein. Reil is one of the largest wine-producing villages on the Moselle. Her most famous wine is the "Vom Heissen Stein". It is the point of departure for a beautiful hike over the Reiler Hals to the Marienburg across Zell. From there you will have the most stunning view of the Moselle valley. Further inland there is the abbey of Springiersbach (appr. 6km). This abbey is in a remarkably quiet valley which has traditionally been a pilgrimage site for Carmelites.
