Our flat – the historic “House of the Red Cross” – is in Prague 1 – Mala Strana, the best part of Prague, up near the Castle and close to many embassies. Essentially everything you are likely to want to see is within walking distance. We are very close to the castle, but the river is also nearby and you can rent rowing boats. In addition to the architecture, we are also close to the hillside parks behind the German and US embassies, where you can walk everywhere and get great views. The building itself is a listed monument and dates back to 1541. It was beautifully restored to a high standard by an Italian restoration company two years ago. Free wireless broadband.
