The small 850 year-old village of Hamma lies in northern Thuringia and at the southern edge of the valley "Goldene Aue" between Kyffhäuser und Südharz. This former watermill, which is over 300 years old, is located at a stream outside the village among trees, meadows and fruit plantations. The late baroque building was restored in line with historic preservation regulations and now contains two comfortable apartments. The cosy and fully furnished apartment is located on the upper floor of the mill building. A sauna is also at your disposal. Of course you’re also free to make use of the garden with barbecue area. There’s also a cosy courtyard cafe, which is open on weekends so its guests can enjoy the home-made cake, ice cream and speciality coffees. The region offers extensive sports and leisure opportunities: kilometres of cycle and hiking trails, open air pools, carriage rides and much more. Popular excursion destinations: Erfurt (65km), Weimar (65km), Quedlinburg (60km).
