The holiday home in the Cuxhavener Land (Elbe-Weser triangle) on the North Sea is open to visitors from January to December. The house is located in a quiet area, individually located, on the outskirts of 21785 Neuhaus an der Oste and has a fully fenced plot (550 m²).
On the fenced garden plot is a sun terrace overlooking the pasture, a parking space, garden furniture, a barbecue, and a sandpit, playhouse and slide for the little ones is available.
The single-storey house offers space for five people on approx. 65 m² of living space and was completely rebuilt in 2017. There is a large bedroom with double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a large wardrobe and two children’s rooms / bedrooms, one with double sofa bed (140 x 200 cm), the other with a bunk bed (1 x 90 x 200 cm) incl. Fall-out protection (if desired), a cot (from Ikea) 60×120 is also available. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and a Senseo machine for quick coffee. The cozy living room (leather suite) with fireplace and dining area and a modern bathroom (with vacuum toilet) complete the offer. From now on there is also a Wi-Fi connection and a second TV in the nursery including Playstation 2 and various games. Heating materials for the stove are not included in the rental price and can be bought locally in a hardware store.
The village center with shops and cafes is about 2 km away. The house is only about 100 meters from the Baltic Sea / Wasserskianlage away.
Neuhaus
Small town, with brick houses behind the old Elbe dike. Cuxhaven 30 km, Otterndorf 11 km west, Wingst Nature Park 4 km south. Historic center with harbor, granary (local history museum), small EDEKA shop where you can buy bread and other little things, restaurant Café Neuhaus there you can drink a home-brewed beer, nice market, weekly market. In the resort: tennis, bike rental, Adventure Golf Park with a café bird reserve ‘Hullen’ (guided excursions), marina at the Oste (berths), Baltic Sea with water ski facility.
Natural History Museum with changing exhibitions and guided tours.
Cadenberge (4 km) supermarket (Marktkauf, Aldi, LIDL, Kik, slaughterhouse etc.) and much more.
Excursions to Cuxhaven with sandy beach, boat trips and mudflats to the islands of Heligoland and Neuwerk.
Otterndorf (15 km) with green beach large Spiel.- and football field, brine bath and children’s play barn.
Wingst Nature Park
The Wingst () The ‘Deutsche Olymp’, with 53 m (observation tower) the highest point in the area, offers a wide view over the flat moorland up to the Elbe. In addition to the naturalness of nature, the picturesque, small districts and villages of the area with low-German half-timbered buildings and thatched farmsteads (farm shops and cafes) characterize the picture.
In the nature park a variety of sports and leisure activities: Play and sports park with leisure house, football field, trampoline, sand, water and adventure playgrounds, 500 m long summer toboggan run with cable car, pond (boat trips), barbecue and mini golf. Zoo () with new wolf and bear enclosure, bowling, tennis, heated indoor and outdoor pool with 100 m long waterslide, horseback riding, designated cycling and hiking trails, forest museum. Balksee (good fishing opportunity).
