Welcome to our Villa Ecologica. You are looking for a place close to Heidelberg calm and sunny? Enjoy the pretty hillsides along the most beautiful lower part of Neckar valley nearby Heidelberg.
Bright 3 rooms, a large bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen, a nice garden and a small terrace of the wooden house are waiting for you. Surrounded by forests and castles, you are in 2 minutes at the train station and in 15 – in the old town of Heidelberg. Take a trip on the ferry boat to the sailing club on the other riverside, visit the Castle and historic center of Hirschhorn, the high fortress village on the Dilsberg, the picturesque towns Eberbach, Neckargemünd and Mosbach, the Nibelungen Minnegesang of Neckarsteinach, the most beautiful promenade on the Neckar and Steinach, forest and cycle paths, the Neckarsteig, rowing and cycling tours on the Neckar.
With its own solar power and spring water in Odenwald, the villa invites you to relax on 75 square meters in your own garden floor apartment with mountain views.
Villa Ecologica has a private entrance through the garden terrace. Parking near the house is allways available. Bicycles can be stored in the garage.
We live on the 2nd floor and are open to conversation. On request, we give a few personal tips. And if there is something to celebrate – also a Heidelberg Pils.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
The comfortable apartment is the lower floor of our house, very well acoustically isolated.
At the beginning of 2018, it was furnished by the two hosts, Maria and Martin, in an ecological style.
Open loft with unique wood design has 2 comfortable leather sofas and large armchair for cozy TV evening. 2 quiet separate bedrooms for 4 people (additional sleeping places on request).
In all rooms bright tiles are laid with underfloor heating. Large windows look out onto the hills. All rooms can be darkened by shutters.
The KITCHEN is new and has everything you need for cooking, living and well-being. These include a large refrigerator with freezer, an electric hob, an extractor hood, an oven with convection function, coffee maker and kettle. All the kitchenware, glasses, pots, pans as well as all necessary utensils and spices allow you a snack.
Bright LIVING ROOM has a dining table with 4 (+2) chairs.
The modern bathroom has a small window for ventilation, sink with mirror, toilet, a radiator for drying and a large bathtub, a big shelf.
The large bright living hall connects the rooms.
The large comfortable BEDROOM with 2 beds guarantee restful sleep in a quiet environment. Two small closets provide storage space. Here you will find a sofa to relax (or as a sleep option for another person), bedside lamps.
The second BEDROOM has a single bed. Furthermore, there is storage space in the dresser, a bedside table and a bedside lamp.
You will be personally received in the apartment. Questions about your stay in Odenwald / Heidelberg will of course be answered. During your stay, you can call always, if something should be wrong. A pick-up from the train station or airport can also be provided if required.
Check-in is possible from 16.00 (earlier – on request) and the late check-out is until 13.00.

Fresh towels are available on request as often as you need them. Otherwise every 3. Day. We also change the sheets as desired, otherwise after a week. For stays of several weeks we make an individual agreement, also regarding the cleaning of the room.
Children up to 2 years: free / from 3 – 14 years: 10 Euro
• We urge you NOT to smoke in the apartment! For violations, a cleaning fee of 150, – EUR to pay.
• I would be happy to provide you with a copy of your ID card when collecting the keys.
• Please check in by 11pm at the latest (until 16 and after 23 only by appointment).
• Please no unofficial parties or events (we can gladly serve your event by arrangement)
• Please do not accommodate other people in the apartment without prior agreement (2 additional persons are possible after agreement).
• The WLAN is basically intended for personal use and is free of charge.

FREETIME ACTIVITIES
On foot you reach in 3 minutes a small terrace café on the shore, Neckar Odenwald view with coffee and strudel. Above, Stainless Steel Eddy is waiting for the harder guys. Visit beautiful restaurants and beer gardens in the center of Neckarsteicnach – one stop from us.
In 3 minutes the children are at the playground and ball court. Other leisure options include the Natur-Therme Katzenbuckel, 3 panoramic outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools and fun pools with saunas nearby. The palm paradise Sinsheim and Museum of Technology can be reached in 35 minutes by car.
Neckarsteinach is located at the following cycling trails:
• the “Romantic Four” (25 km), from Neckargemünd to Eberbach
• Neckartal Cycle Path (410 km), from Villingen-Schwenningen to Mannheim
• Castle Road Cycle Route (1200 km), from Mannheim to Prague
• Odenwald-Madonnen-Weg (165 km), from Tauberbischofsheim to Speyer
• Circular route “3 Länder-Radweg” (225 km)
Hikers can be found in 100 meters in the Odenwald. Two main hiking trails of the Odenwaldclub lead through Neckarsteinach:
• HW74 Neckarsteig (126.7 km), from Heidelberg to Bad Wimpfen
• HW36 (71 km), from Heidelberg to Oberschefflenz
Further hiking trails are the leading to Heidelberg 22 km long castle path 4 and the Ochsenkopf-Weg, a 7 km long circular walk that passes the lookout tower on the 416 m high, “Ochsenkopf” Schadeck mentioned. There are also some Nordic Walking trails.
