Quiet cozy Vortex apartmen/house is a newly renovated house in the heart of Old City center of Mostar, with the famous Old Bridge in 5 minute walking distance. Walk the historical paths of old steep Mostar streets with a rich cultural heritage starting from your doorstep.
Our newly renovated guest house is located in Cernica, quiet residential area, surrounded by private houses. It is a self-catering property set in the heart of Mostar’s center. Cernica area is only a 5-minute walk from the UNESCO-protected Old Bridge and beautiful Mostar Old town. There are mosques in the surrounding area while the national monuments are all within close proximity. The old Ottoman houses, museums and all other cultural monuments are just a 5 minute walk from us.
Our apartment/house is the perfect place for families and couples. The house itself comprises of two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and spacious living room. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are located on the ground floor, while the bedrooms and balcony are on the first floor.
The kitchen is fully equipped and provides all electrical appliances and utensils:
Cooker (stove and oven)
Fridge and freezer
Kettle
Toaster
Cooking pans
Cups, plates and cutlery
The property also offers free WI- FI and cable TV. The air conditioning is fitted in the small corridor on the first floor, between the two bedrooms. The balcony is also accessible from this corridor.
As the apartment is in the residential area in city center, it is not that easy to find a parking spot, but you can always try. There is a paid public parking just two minutes from the apartment and you can park there for a fee of 5€ per day.
The Mostar International Airport is located about 3 kilometers away. The bus and train station is about 5 min drive time from the apartment. We don’t offer private parking, but there is a public parking area with a fee of 5 euros for a day.
Within close proximity of the guest house you will find number of cafés and restaurants, serving, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a small bakery ‘Dimal’ located off the Cernica Sokak (street) where you can indulge in freshly baked rolls, variety of breads and Bosnian pastries. In the same street, you will also find three supermarkets offering a wide range of groceries, including fresh fruits and vegetables.
The guest house is easily accessible from the bus and train station, 5 min drive.
Transfers from the bus and train station to the property can be arranged by the host in advance if requested, or taxi service can be arranged at a surcharge from and to the main bus and train station, and from and to Mostar Airport that is 1.9 miles from the property. There is also public parking close to the house.
